Mazda Launches Payment Deferral Option and Essential Car Care Program
As COVID-19 continued to spread around the country, many dealerships and manufacturers released relief and “thank you” programs. In April, Mazda revealed two programs that they’re offering to customers. This includes a payment deferral option and an Essential Car Care program. To learn more about these programs from Mazda, keep on reading.
Payment Deferral Option for Eligible Customers
Through the Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, Mazda introduced Mazda Financial Services (MFS). One of their first actions includes providing assistance to new customers. Any customers who finance a new or Certified Used Mazda vehicle from April 1st to April 30th will receive a deferral payment option of up to 90 days. Customers must have their credit approved through Mazda Financial Services and the Mazda dealer to be eligible. The deferment period starts on the contract date.
As a way to help Mazda dealers, MFS is reducing the rates on their floorplan lines and the interest rates as well. Any dealers that have real estate or working capital loans will be provided with the option of a principal payment deferral.
Essential Car Care for Healthcare Workers
On April 15th, Mazda announced free oil changes and enhanced cleaning services for U.S. healthcare workers. This special program is a way for Mazda to honor its tradition of supporting the community. After seeing individual dealers provide programs for their local healthcare workers, Mazda decided to implement a national program. This program is not exclusive to Mazda vehicles and includes most makes and models from other manufacturers. Vehicles that are not eligible include exotic vehicles, classic car vehicles, offroad vehicles, vehicles that have an engine oil capacity larger than 8-quarts, and vehicles that have special manufacturer requirements.
